AI Use Notice

Writing Tutor is designed to guide a child through ideas, outlining, drafting, and revision. AI suggestions are not the child's final work. The child decides what to write and whether to adopt a suggestion.

• AI may misunderstand an assignment, overlook context, or produce inaccurate feedback.
• Scores and reports are practice indicators, not official grades or professional educational assessments.
• AI output should be reviewed by the child and parent, and by a teacher where appropriate.
• Writing Tutor does not guarantee academic improvement, admission, test results, or a particular grade.

Families are responsible for following the rules of the child's school, teacher, assignment, examination, or competition. If AI assistance is prohibited, do not use the AI feature for that work. Do not submit generated text as the child's independent work when disclosure is required.

Do not enter unnecessary sensitive details in a prompt or essay, including home addresses, phone numbers, passwords, precise locations, health records, government identifiers, or another person's private information. Relevant writing context may be sent to the configured AI provider when a user explicitly requests AI help or a report.

AI requests are processed through OpenRouter using the GLM 5.2 model and a selected processing endpoint currently supplied by Z.ai or Novita. Writing Tutor limits requests to the context needed for the selected feature and uses route-level zero-data-retention and data-collection controls where supported. Provider details may change when needed for security, reliability, availability, or data protection; material changes affecting child information will be reflected in the Privacy Policy or Child Privacy Notice.

An adult parent or legal guardian owns and manages the account, provides required permissions, and should supervise age-appropriate use. AI output is educational support only and is not medical, mental-health, legal, safety, or emergency advice.
